Deliver your new appliance to a room of your choice, unpack it, position it and level it
Check appliance
Check the appliance position, connections, and carry out a full health & safety inspection
Disconnect old appliance
Disconnect your old cooker (electric only) if you’ve chosen our connection service
Remove packaging
Remove and recycle all external packaging
Record
Take photos of the installation for our records
Remove & Recycle
If you selected our Remove & Recycle Service, we’ll take your old appliance away when we leave
What we need from you
Access
Clear access from your front door to the installation room (this may include moving cars)
Dimensions
Double-check the appliance dimensions to make sure it fits your space
Electric supply
Make sure there’s a correctly rated electric supply within 1 metre of where the appliance will sit
Check the area
Ensure there’s a minimum clearance of 65cm above the cooker, free from switches or hazards
Pre-installation instructions
Follow any pre-installation instructions for your cooker from the product manufacturer’s website
Access
Provide access to your consumer unit, fuse box, or any pre-existing cooker isolation switches
A few things to know
Gas cookers
We don’t disconnect gas cookers. If you’re switching from gas to electric, a Gas Safe Engineer must disconnect your old appliance first
We don't make changes to your home
We don’t make changes to your home, including doors, cabinetry, pipework or electrics
Internal packaging
All internal packaging is left with you
We might be unable to complete installation
If access is restricted, conditions aren’t safe, the weather is poor, or remedial electrical work is required, we may be unable to complete installation

Collection
We’ll collect your old appliance from a room of your choice
Recycling
Your old appliance will be taken away and responsibly recycled
Getting your old appliance ready
Appliances must be disconnected and uninstalled before we arrive
We might be unable to complete collection
For safety reasons, our team may refuse collection if it isn’t safe to do so
